El Paso, TX – June 4, 2025 — ReadyOne Industries had the honor of welcoming a special guest to its headquarters in El Paso as part of ongoing efforts to showcase the power of inclusive employment and innovation in military garment production.
Javier Salinas, South-Central Texas Regional Director for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, toured the ReadyOne facility to gain a firsthand understanding of the organization’s capabilities as an AbilityOne federal contractor. The visit included a walkthrough of the automated production line for Army Combat Uniforms (ACUs), where garments move seamlessly through each stage of assembly on a suspended system, demonstrating efficiency, precision, and the value of adaptive workforce solutions.
Another highlight of the tour was ReadyOne’s legacy cutting machine, a 50-year-old piece of equipment still used to prepare materials for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) suits. The demonstration underscored how ReadyOne blends time-tested processes with modern automation to meet the needs of our nation’s military.
Mr. Salinas expressed his enthusiasm and support for ReadyOne’s mission and indicated a strong interest in arranging a future visit for Senator Cruz himself.
To commemorate the occasion, ReadyOne CEO Craig Wellons presented Mr. Salinas with a Certificate of Appreciation for his support of the AbilityOne Program, a nationwide initiative that creates employment opportunities for individuals with significant disabilities through federal contracting.
This important visit was made possible through the coordination of SourceAmerica, a key partner in connecting federal agencies with AbilityOne contractors like ReadyOne.
As a leader in integrated employment and military garment manufacturing, ReadyOne remains committed to empowering individuals with disabilities, supporting our armed forces, and strengthening the El Paso community.
