ReadyOne Industries has been awarded an $18.6 million sole-source contract to produce Uniform Integrated Protective Ensemble (UIPE) garments, the U.S. military’s next-generation chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) protective uniforms.
The new UIPE garments are designed to replace older protective systems, offering lighter, more effective gear that enhances survivability, mobility, and operational readiness for Warfighters across all branches of the Armed Forces. This award designates ReadyOne as the exclusive supplier of these mission-critical uniforms, underscoring the company’s long-standing role as a trusted partner in national defense.
Craig Wellons, CEO of ReadyOne Industries, shared his pride in the award:
“We are honored to continue serving as the exclusive supplier of mission-critical protective uniforms for the U.S. military. This award not only supports national defense and Warfighter readiness—it directly empowers individuals with significant disabilities through meaningful employment. Our team takes great pride in producing gear that protects those who protect us.”
Beyond strengthening national defense, the contract highlights ReadyOne’s dual mission: producing innovative, high-quality garments for the military while creating meaningful job opportunities for people with significant disabilities.
