Leonard A. Goodman III ( Tripper )

Leonard A. Goodman III (Tripper), a native El Pasoan, is president and CEO of Goodman Financial Group. He has served as Chairman of the Board of ReadyOne Industries since the spring of 2006. Tripper graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in History in 1974 and has held successful positions throughout his career. Tripper has served El Paso through various community organizations such as the Sun Bowl Executive committee, The El Paso Guidance Center, The City Charter Commission, the YMCA Board, Junior Achievement of El Paso Board, Paso Del Norte Board, just to name a few. In addition, he has received numerous recognitions such as the National Management Award General Agents and Managers, the Management Builder Award and the Member of President's Conference Production Award.

Merritt Hamilton Allen

Merritt Hamilton Allen of Tijeras, New Mexico is a successful entrepreneur in the federal sector and an advocate for service-disabled veterans. Merritt is originally from Silver City, N.M., and attended the University of Notre Dame on a Naval ROTC scholarship. She received a disability retirement from the Navy in 1999 after serving as a public affairs officer for eight years. Merritt started her own public relations firm, Vox Optima, in 2005, and her clients include Department of Defense agencies, global defense companies, state governments and community-based businesses. Merritt is dedicated to the cause of disabled veteran business ownership and was named the New Mexico Veteran Business Champion by the Small Business Administration in 2008.

Marty Berkowitz

Marty Berkowitz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board of ReadyOne Industries. He is currently CFO of Videotrope, a developer of video-enabled business communications and collaboration tools. He has over 30 years of experience in financial management including 25 years with Prudential. During the last four years of his tenure, he served as the comptroller of the company. After Prudential, Marty was the CFO and later the CEO for The National Veterans Business Development Corporation, a congressionally chartered non-profit that helps veterans, and in particular service-disabled veterans start and grow their own businesses. He also served as CFO for the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the fourth largest public school district in the country. Marty earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts and received his MBA from St. John's University.

Lt. General Arthur J. Gregg

Lt. General Arthur J. Gregg, a native of South Carolina living in Dumfries, Virginia, was elected to the ReadyOne Board of Directors in 2006. He has more than 50 years of professional experience, having held senior level command and staff positions in the military and several executive positions in industry. General Gregg’s last two military assignments were in the Pentagon; serving as the Director for Logistics in the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and later as the Army’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics. Following his retirement from the Army in 1981, he served as an executive in cable television, manufacturing and computer technology, including a stint as President and CEO of James Martin Government Intelligence. Retired since 1996, he remains active as chairman and a member of several corporate and academic boards.

Gary Hedrick

Gary Hedrick, past president and CEO of El Paso Electric Company, joined the board in 2008. He is a consultant on financial and regulatory issues, and serves as Adjunct Professor of Corporate Enterprise at the University of Texas at El Paso. Gary received his BBA and MBA degrees in Finance from the University of Texas at El Paso, and graduated from the Kennedy School of Government Executive Leadership Course at Harvard University in 2000. A past Distinguished Alumni Gold Nugget Award recipient at UTEP and member of the El Paso Business Hall of Fame, Gary serves on the advisory board of Las Palmas Medical Center, the development boards of both UTEP and the Paul Foster School of Medicine, the Business Advisory Council at UTEP and is a founding member of the Paso Del Norte Group. He remains extremely active in the community with service on numerous other civic and charitable organizations.

Tony Martinez

Antonio Martinez, Jr. Antonio Martinez, Jr. has been named to the Board of Directors of ReadyOne Industries, it was announced by Leonard Goodman III, Chairman of the Board. Martinez is a partner with the El Paso Law Firm of Firth•Johnson•Martinez. He received a B.S. in Criminal Justice from UTEP and his J. D. from the Texas Tech University School of Law. Before entering private practice, he served as an assistant District Attorney for El Paso County and as the District Counsel for the El Paso District Office of the Small Business Administration. Active in the community, Martinez serves on the Board of Directors of St. Patrick Cathedral and the Board of Directors for the Paso Del Norte Children's Development Center where he is past president. He also served on the Board of Directors of the El Paso Bar Association and is a past president. He is a Board member of the Foundation for the Paso Del Norte Children's Development Center.
